- Thank you SIH for the scanlations!
i've read the beginning of this series a long time ago, but now im picking it up again. it's truly wonderful. it's not so much the intense sadness that manifests Kagen no Tsuki, but the subtle sorrow of the overall story.
and i also like ai yazawa's personal style of art and narration too. it's lovely.

- thanks so much for scanlating this one! I'm currently hooked on NANA and had been looking for more of Ai-sensei's works. :)

- This is the best shoujo manga I'd read in years. It's head and shoulders above so many other supernatural shoujo stories because it's -- dare I say it -- original, but such quality should be expected from Ai Yazawa given the popularity and success of Nana.
And yet I think this is so much more interesting and touching than Nana. Absolutely read this if you liked Ai Yazawa's other shoujo series or if you've ever enjoyed shoujo with a supernatural twist.
P.S. You might want to have some tissues on hand. I still tear up when I read this and listen to the movie soundtrack.

- This was a wonderful manga by yazawa ai. I have enjoyed reading her works after i discovered nana. Yet out of all her works that i read so far none of them has touched me the way this one did. Even though his is sad it is not as tragic as her other works and made me feel...tranquil. It started perfectly and ended great. I'm happy to have stumbled upon this because this story really had me thinking and i could truly empathize with the plot. It has its beautiful and tearful moments and i recommend it. This is one of the few manga i have enjoyed to read and one that has truly touched my heart. pure brilliance

- Yeah, I agree. I liked Kagen no Tsuki better than "Nana" and "Paradise Kiss". Even though they are more popular.

- This is one of the finest shoujo series I've ever read. It's really emotionally involving and the characters are incredibly three-dimensional and engaging.
"Paradise Kiss" and "Nana" are far more popular than this Ai Yazawa offering but neither of them moved me as much as this supernatural romance. If you've ever been apart from the person you love, this will speak to you.
Thank you so much to SiH for bringing this manga to English readers. It's a damn shame it has never been officially released in English, especially since the live action movie isn't have as enjoyable without the understanding granted by the manga.
